In this „how to“ guide we will demonstrate how you can search a remote hosts in your network for any registry keys and
values using our built-in wildcard search criteria scanning engine.
Please make sure you have downloaded our ZOLA Remote File Search product from our website to get the latest version
available and install it under administrator rights.

Before we continue make sure you have install and run the ZOLA Remote File Search product.
Click on „Scan Wizards“ and select the „3. Scan Computer(s) from Automatic Network Scanning“ item to continue to next step.
From the „Automatic Network Scanning“ dialog you can scan your network for available hosts. Click „Scan Network Now“
button to scan your network.
Enumeration of remote hosts has completed, next select the hosts you want to perform the scan on and click the „Scan Now“ - „2. Scan Registry“ item to continue.
To create a new registry search scanning criteria click „Add New“ button.
Now give your registry search criteria a name, and fill into required fields. In this How To guide we are going to search for *WinZip*, *Acrobat* and *.pdf* keywords. When you have configure your search criteria click on the Add Item button to continue.
To execute our new registry search criteria on remote hosts available in the machine queue, click on the Execute Now button.
Registry search scanning in progress, this task can take up to several minutes to complete.
Registry search scanning task has completed and all search results are now visible for viewing, sorting and exporting to several popular formats.
To export search results right click anywhere on the listview and select „Export Results“ - „Export Advanced“ item to continue.
From the Export Dialog you have various options on how you want to export the search results. In this How To guide we are going to export the registry search results into HTML file. Click Start Export button to export and save the results to HTML file.
